Position Overview

Role: Escort Support Personnel Assistant

As an Escort Support Personnel Assistant, you will be tasked with providing escort support and exceptional customer service to visitors and guests, facilitating the mission of the Office of Military Commission's (OMC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive at the designated site at least one hour prior to scheduled proceedings to prepare the environment, including setting up signage and ensuring cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with security personnel to verify credentials of victims and family members before they access the viewing area.
  • Maintain site security by conducting necessary checks, including operating a magnetometer or using a wand for screening attendees.
  • Enforce compliance with established rules regarding the prohibition of recording or downloading feeds from the courtroom.
  • Report any violations to the designated Government Representative and coordinate with security in case of disturbances.
  • Work with the Government Representative and installation staff in the event of extended court hours.
  • Complete required training as per company and client policies.
  • Document work hours daily in the corporate system.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license is necessary.
  • Interim Secret clearance is required to commence, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Availability for on-call duties.
  • Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to attend in-person meetings and conferences as needed.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Maintain a Secret clearance throughout the contract duration.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as necessary.
