Position Overview
  • Manage general office tasks, including answering phones, taking messages, and handling documents (scanning, faxing, copying, etc.)
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling
  • Welcome and direct clients and visitors upon their arrival
  • Check clients in and out using the electronic health record system
  • Organize and file documents in patient records
  • Facilitate transportation service drop-offs and pickups
  • Assist the clinical team with chart maintenance and support
  • Ensure confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Office Manager and Program Administrator
Qualifications
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a reception role within a fast-paced environment, preferably in a medical or community mental health setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) is essential
  • Aptitude for learning new software applications
  • Ability to engage effectively with challenging clients
  • Detail-oriented with strong multitasking capabilities
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure outpatient environment
  • Must provide one form of valid photo identification (non-expired)

Salary:

$23.00 per hour
