The Escort Support Personnel Assistant is responsible for providing escort services and exceptional customer assistance to visitors and guests, supporting the mission of the Office of Military Commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrive at the designated site at least one hour prior to scheduled proceedings to prepare the room, set up signage, and ensure cleanliness.
- Collaborate with security personnel to verify credentials of victims and family members before entry into the viewing area.
- Maintain site security by performing duties such as operating a magnetometer or using a wand for screening attendees.
- Ensure compliance with regulations prohibiting unauthorized recording of courtroom proceedings.
- Report any violations to the assigned Government Representative and contact security if necessary.
- Coordinate with the Government Representative and installation staff in case of extended court hours.
- Complete required training as per company and client policies.
- Document work hours daily in the corporate system.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Valid U.S. driver's license required.
- Interim Secret clearance necessary, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Availability for on-call work.
- Proficient in various computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to attend all required in-person meetings and conferences.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong integrity and accountability.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Capability to maintain a Secret clearance throughout the contract duration.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as required.
