Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to client inquiries.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments, coordinate transportation services, and ensure timely and efficient scheduling.
  • Client Support: Greet and direct clients and visitors, check clients in and out, and provide support to the clinical team.
  • Administrative Tasks: File documents, maintain confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Team Support: Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Program Administrator as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of reception experience in a fast-paced office, preferably in medical or community mental health.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and ability to learn new software.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
