Lead Social Services Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage social workers and community service personnel in the daily functions of case assignment, supervision, coordination, and client engagement, while addressing and resolving urgent matters.
- Support team members through regular one-on-one meetings to evaluate case challenges and enhance their diagnostic and support capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with established organizational policies, objectives, quality assurance protocols, and safety standards.
- Consult with and keep the department head updated on activities, requirements, and issues related to service demands.
- Guarantee that staff comply with contractual mandates while delivering high-quality service and effective case coordination.
- Assist in evaluating caseworker competencies and identifying specific training requirements for the team.
- Conduct periodic performance evaluations of staff and report findings to the department head.
- Guide caseworkers in creating detailed care plans and comprehensive assessment documentation.
- Participate in case discussions with social work professionals from various departments and organizations.
- Engage in community-based activities.
- Actively contribute to team meetings.
- Review case documentation to confirm that services align with the established care plan.
- Help resolve complex client issues.
- Facilitate individual or group sessions with clients and families to help them understand, accept, and implement care plan recommendations.
- Contribute to service enhancement planning by interpreting social factors relevant to program development.
- Provide coverage for absent staff due to illness or vacation.
- Serve as acting Director in their absence.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Master of Social Work (MSW) required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in human services.
- At least one year of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle registration.
- Bilingual proficiency in Chinese or Korean preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technologies.
- Able to work independently.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional exposure to hazardous substances and outdoor weather conditions; potential risk of exposure to pathogens and unsanitary conditions in clients' residences.
