Position: Human Resources Specialist - Compensation and Benefits

Location: Remote

Employment Type: Full Time / Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee employee benefits programs, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Administer the implementation of employee benefits offerings, including health coverage, retirement options, and additional voluntary benefits.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and issues, delivering prompt and effective solutions.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and recommend suitable actions for employee relations matters.
  • Support the performance evaluation process, offering guidance to both management and staff.
  • Assist in creating and executing performance enhancement strategies.
  • Perform regular audits of payroll processes to guarantee compliance and precision.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee questions regarding compensation and benefits.
  • Provide assistance during open enrollment periods and effectively communicate benefits information to staff.
  • Oversee payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Stay informed about federal and state employment legislation and regulations.
  • Revise and enforce HR policies to maintain compliance and uniformity throughout the organization.
  • Identify training requirements and collaborate with department leaders to implement development initiatives.
  • Facilitate training sessions on various HR-related subjects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, ideally within the technology sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in benefits management and payroll oversight.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proven track record in employee relations.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is advantageous.
