Inside Sales Support Specialist

Position Title: Customer Service Representative/ISE
Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Department: Inside Sales
Role Summary:
The Customer Service Representative/Inside Sales Engineer (ISE) plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the supply chain by managing the processing and fulfillment of customer orders. This position involves receiving orders from sales engineers and accurately entering them into the NetSuite system, while coordinating with warehouse operations to guarantee timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via telephone and email.
- Input completed orders into the NetSuite system.
- Review customer and account documents for accuracy and resolve discrepancies using established procedures.
- Request and manage submittals and shop drawings from manufacturers and customers.
- Process sales orders and forward purchase orders to manufacturers.
- Track shipments and provide updates to customers and sales engineers.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Goal-oriented with effective time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
- Basic math proficiency and mechanical aptitude.
- Experience with Windows-based software.
- Preferred: 5 years of relevant experience and familiarity with mechanical equipment sales.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must pass background checks and drug tests.
