We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations, with the flexibility to work from any of our locations or remotely.

The Senior Vice President of Supply Chain Operations is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, direction, and oversight of warehouse distribution operations throughout the organization.

This position necessitates close collaboration with Regional Directors to ensure the development and execution of efficient and cost-effective operational systems that align with the organization's strategic objectives and adapt to future demands.

Additionally, this role is instrumental in guiding the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team, ensuring that comprehensive safety protocols are established, communicated, and rigorously adhered to, thereby maintaining a safe working environment.

Moreover, the Senior Vice President will monitor performance metrics, spearhead continuous improvement initiatives, and cultivate a culture of operational excellence and safety across the organization.

To effectively manage these responsibilities and contribute to the organization's overall success, the Senior Vice President must possess strong leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Leadership Duties:
Collaborate closely with Human Resources to recruit management-level personnel within the department.
Assist in training and developing new leaders as necessary.
Provide timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Work directly with Regional Directors to manage and enhance each operational territory.
Mentor and develop individuals within the operations team.

Operational Responsibilities:
Establish, implement, and communicate the strategic vision for the organization's warehouse operations division.

Work alongside executive leadership to develop and achieve company objectives while providing expertise and guidance on operational projects and systems.

Engage with other divisions and departments to fulfill the organization's goals and objectives.

Identify, recommend, and implement innovative processes, technologies, and systems to enhance and streamline organizational processes and resource utilization.

Ensure that departmental decisions and project plans regarding staffing, development, organization, material efficiency, hardware acquisitions, and facilities align with the organization's business strategy and vision.

Establish, communicate, and enforce operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.
Collaborate on project cost estimates and staffing requirements.
Oversee and advise on the departmental budget.
Present periodic performance reports and metrics to the chief operating officer and other leadership.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and trends in operations management.
Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training is developed and delivered.
Travel may be required up to 75% of the time.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for Success:
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of ten (10) years of industry-related experience, including three years in upper management, is required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership capabilities.
Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proven leadership to foster an empowered, accountable culture and guide others through change.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.

Work Location:
This role can be performed from any of our Concordance locations or fully remote.
