Key Responsibilities
  • Establish a secure work environment by implementing environmental, safety, and operational protocols, with a focus on identifying and mitigating risks to achieve zero incidents.
  • Drive improvements in safety, compliance, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, cost management, and resource utilization within the logistics function.
  • Lead the production planning team to optimize workflow.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Collaborate with corporate teams to align logistics operations with customer needs efficiently.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for logistics enhancements.
  • Ensure operational strategies are executed effectively by equipping team members with the necessary skills.
  • Work alongside production and automation teams to foster beneficial relationships.
  • Clarify individual roles and expectations to align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
  • Experience in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, or transportation.
  • Proven track record in coaching and developing team members.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), such as SAP.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering.
  • Experience managing logistics contractors or vendors.
  • Background in production planning.
  • Experience in automated material handling systems.
