Position Summary:

The Human Resource Manager at InterConnect Wiring plays a crucial role in overseeing various HR functions to ensure the smooth operation of the organization. This position encompasses responsibilities in benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with employment laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Administration: Manage the benefits program, including evaluating insurance providers and organizing open enrollment sessions to inform employees about their options.
  • Employee Support: Address employee inquiries regarding benefits and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment regulations, reviewing policies to maintain compliance.
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with management to implement effective recruitment strategies, overseeing the hiring process for qualified candidates.
  • Payroll Processing: Handle payroll duties and ensure timely processing of employee compensation.
  • Training and Development: Attend professional development seminars to enhance HR skills and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Employee Relations: Manage employee feedback, complaints, and suggestions, fostering a positive workplace environment.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Complete necessary reporting, including EEO-1 and Veteran 4212, and maintain the company’s Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Safety and Compliance: Coordinate safety committee meetings and maintain OSHA logs, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Performance Management: Oversee the performance review process, including 90-day and annual evaluations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and delegate when necessary.
  • Commitment to integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
