Job Overview

CornerStone Professional Placement is in search of a skilled Human Resources Operations Manager to lead all HR and safety initiatives within our organization. This pivotal role reports directly to the President and is essential in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals while nurturing a culture of safety and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all HR operations, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Manage and ensure the successful implementation of safety programs, including OSHA reporting, Workers' Compensation, and workplace safety initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary contact for employment relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and mitigating litigation risks.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and plant managers to enhance communication and ensure timely project updates.
  • Administer annual benefits plans, including self-funded options, and negotiate terms with service providers.
  • Assist the finance department in preparing annual budgets and managing HR-related expenditures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in HR, with a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity.
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration (self-funded plans preferred), and human resource management practices.
  • Strong ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
