This pivotal role reports directly to the President and is essential in aligning HR strategies with organizational goals while nurturing a culture of safety and employee development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR operations, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.
- Manage and ensure the successful implementation of safety programs, including OSHA reporting, Workers' Compensation, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Serve as the primary contact for employment relations, addressing grievances, disciplinary actions, and mitigating litigation risks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and plant managers to enhance communication and ensure timely project updates.
- Administer annual benefits plans, including self-funded options, and negotiate terms with service providers.
- Assist the finance department in preparing annual budgets and managing HR-related expenditures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in HR, with a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, benefits administration (self-funded plans preferred), and human resource management practices.
- Strong ethical standards with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
