Job Overview

Position Summary: The Human Resource Manager at InterConnect Wiring plays a pivotal role in managing the company's human resources functions, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Benefits Management: Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including evaluating insurance providers and organizing open enrollment sessions to inform staff about their options.
  • HR Operations: Supervise the review of HR invoices, ensuring timely submission to the Accounting department, and assist employees with any inquiries regarding their benefits.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Maintain employee confidentiality and manage sensitive medical issues in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with management to implement effective recruitment strategies, including interviewing and hiring qualified candidates.
  • Employee Relations: Address employee complaints and suggestions, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Training and Development: Attend professional development seminars to enhance HR skills and stay updated on current HR practices.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, including performance reviews and compliance documentation.
  • Safety and Compliance: Coordinate safety committee meetings, maintain OSHA logs, and oversee labor correction tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in human resource management is preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
