Microsoft Alliance Marketing Manager

Location: Remote in the United States

BlueVoyant is seeking a dynamic Microsoft Alliance Marketing Manager to spearhead our global marketing initiatives focused on Microsoft. This position demands a deep understanding of Microsoft marketing strategies and Microsoft Azure Cloud security, including Azure Sentinel and other security solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, prioritizing, and managing various marketing efforts to create demand for BlueVoyant's services, partnerships, and business growth with Microsoft channel partners. Collaboration with the global marketing team and alignment with corporate marketing teams is essential. This role reports directly to the Director of Global Alliance Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Enhance Microsoft-focused marketing efforts in partnership with Microsoft Alliance Directors and channel partners to expand our partner ecosystem.
  2. Establish yourself as the subject matter expert in Microsoft marketing within the region, driving awareness and demand for BlueVoyant's Microsoft offerings.

Core Areas of Responsibility:

  1. Microsoft Sellers: Develop marketing strategies to support co-selling initiatives. This includes localizing, creating, and delivering Microsoft-facing materials and programs that showcase BlueVoyant as the leading partner for Microsoft security services, ultimately driving referral revenue.
  2. Microsoft Channel Partners: Create and implement marketing resources and programs aimed at educating and empowering Microsoft Channel Partners to generate new revenue collaboratively, working closely with local sales and marketing teams.
  3. End-Customer Demand Generation: Collaborate with Microsoft Alliance marketing leadership, corporate growth teams, and local sales teams to agree on the development and localization of global campaigns, ensuring effective local execution.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Implement marketing strategies alongside BlueVoyant Alliance leadership, Microsoft, and channel partners, understanding their requirements to facilitate go-to-market alignment.
  • Identify opportunities for marketing funding through incentive programs and manage the investment and oversight process with Microsoft.
  • Ensure BlueVoyant maximizes Microsoft partner marketing support and incentives to foster strong customer engagement.
  • Prepare and deliver regular updates to executive leaders and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will possess demand generation experience and familiarity with Microsoft. Candidates with channel partner and cybersecurity marketing experience are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, field marketing, or channel marketing.
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Cloud Security technologies, including Azure, Sentinel, and Defender.
  • Proven ability to create, manage, and execute multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously, with agility to adapt as necessary.
  • Experience leading marketing project management initiatives.
  • Skilled in developing presentations and communications that influence decision-making and inspire collaborative marketing efforts.
  • Proficient in building trusting, collaborative relationships with peers, sales teams, and partners.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A team player with excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable engaging with all organizational levels.
