Summary:

As a full-time member of our team, the Reentry Program Coordinator will be responsible for the direct service, management, and administration of educational programming for individuals transitioning from incarceration to community reintegration.

This role includes designing, implementing, and overseeing programs that support successful reentry and reduce recidivism rates.


Key Responsibilities:

1. **Leadership and Organizational Development:**
Promote a culture of respect and collaboration across the organization. Participate in agency-wide workgroups to support organizational goals. Facilitate critical thinking and problem-solving initiatives.

2. **Program Management:**
Design and implement reentry programs addressing the needs of individuals leaving incarceration, including life skills, job readiness, education, and mental health support. Develop and maintain program policies to ensure effective delivery.

3. **Collaboration:**
Work with correctional facilities, community organizations, and stakeholders to create a supportive network for program participants. Build relationships with local employers and educational institutions to facilitate successful reentry.

4. **Supervision:**
Oversee direct service staff involved in assessment and educational programming, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

5. **Compliance and Reporting:**
Ensure adherence to regulations related to reentry programs. Collect and analyze data to track outcomes and prepare reports for stakeholders.

6. **Advocacy and Outreach:**
Advocate for policy improvements in reentry services and conduct outreach activities to raise awareness about reentry challenges.


Direct Service Duties:

Provide case management and personalized support plans for program participants. Organize workshops and training sessions to equip participants with necessary skills.


Additional Duties:

Must report to the office daily and be eligible for necessary clearances. Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong organizational and time management abilities; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


Qualifications:

A Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of related experience is required. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a correctional facility is essential. Experience in program design and evaluation for at-risk populations is preferred.
