Job Summary:
The RN, Staff Development Coordinator is a key member of the Allied Services team, responsible for the organization and implementation of new employee orientation and clinical competency programs. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our staff has the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive staff development programs to enhance clinical competency and promote a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing Services to design and deliver new employee orientation and ongoing education programs.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to staff to support their professional growth and development.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of staff development programs and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years satisfactory experience as an RN in a rehabilitative setting required.
- Supervision experience preferred.
- Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse as issued by the relevant state board of nursing.
- Clearances required: state police criminal history check, child abuse clearance, and FBI fingerprint clearance.
