Position Title: Special Event Sales Manager

Overview:

As a leader in the experiential services sector, Legends International is seeking a dedicated Special Event Sales Manager to spearhead the sales and operational management of special events at our venue. This role is pivotal in driving revenue and enhancing our client engagement through exceptional event experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and cultivate revenue-generating opportunities for various special events, including corporate gatherings, social events, meetings, conferences, and weddings.
  2. Engage in proactive business development by making sales presentations, attending industry trade shows, and expanding our client network.
  3. Establish and maintain strong relationships within the event planning and production sectors, as well as with potential clients and partners.
  4. Stay informed about trends and developments in the special events industry to leverage new opportunities.
  5. Collaborate closely with internal departments, including operations, food and beverage, and merchandise, to ensure seamless event execution.
  6. Conduct regular meetings with the operations team to discuss event logistics and flow.
  7. Manage vendor relationships, including catering services, to provide comprehensive solutions for clients.
  8. Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, site visits, and client communications.
  9. Prepare detailed reports for management, including revenue analysis and event performance metrics.
  10. Gather and analyze client feedback post-events to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  11. Build partnerships with local tourism entities to enhance our outreach and sales efforts.
  12. Assist in tourism sales initiatives as needed.
  13. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in event sales or management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial planning and budgeting.
  • A thorough understanding of local markets and venue operations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
