About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Sales and Planning Manager to join our team at Gecko Hospitality. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for driving event sales and delivering exceptional event experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Sales Management: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive event revenue growth.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of events, ensuring seamless delivery and exceeding client expectations.
  • Client Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Budget Management: Manage event budgets to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations and service teams to ensure seamless event delivery and exceptional client experiences.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to provide innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of event management experience, preferably in a luxury or high-end property.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Education: Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with event management software and CRM systems.
