As an Event Sales Specialist, you will collaborate with multiple departments to gather information, assist in scheduling, and coordinate show technicians to meet the unique needs of our clients. You will oversee the onsite management of event installations and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Address customer inquiries to determine the specifics of the event, including client requirements, budgets, venues, dates, past events, and necessary equipment, to accurately assess the scope and quality of the client's event. Clearly communicate policies regarding rentals, labor, insurance, billing, deposits, and logistics.
  • Work alongside the Show Assistant to draft, review, and present formal proposals to clients as needed.
  • Supervise all aspects of event logistics and details. Conduct site visits as necessary to evaluate venues, ensuring that all logistical elements align with client and equipment specifications, and that power requirements are accurately addressed. Respond to client requests for changes and communicate these internally to implement necessary adjustments.
  • Manage the complete process of event setup, operation, and teardown. Collaborate with clients onsite to accommodate any changes in equipment or labor needs, and organize schedule modifications for both labor and operational requirements.
  • Compile final documentation related to the actual execution of the event, detailing all hours worked and equipment used in preparation for billing. Follow up with clients to gauge satisfaction levels and address any outstanding issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in developing technical proposals for various event types
  • Exceptional organizational skills
Base Salary Range: $57,000 - $84,000. This range represents the low and high end of the company's base salary for this role, with actual compensation varying based on several factors, including experience.
