Holy Trinity Catholic Church is seeking an energetic and faith-filled person to serve as our community engagement coordinator.

Holy Trinity, a 230+ year-old Jesuit parish and school in Georgetown, Washington, DC, is seeking a creative and energetic individual to join our pastoral staff.

As part of our social justice ministry, the coordinator serves as the bridge between Holy Trinity and the community. Typical duties may include: develop an outreach calendar, organize and oversee social justice events, assess impact of current programs, manage volunteer workforce in various projects, cultivate relationships with local non-profits to extend the reach of Holy Trinity’s programs, or deliver food and other assistance to partner organizations.

The successful candidate will be an active member of a Roman Catholic parish, have an appropriate bachelor’s degree, and at least one year of directly-related experience working with volunteers. (An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted, as long as it directly relates to the essential duties and responsibilities.) You should be committed to the mission of Holy Trinity and to social justice, able to connect and communicate with others, and adept at performing several tasks concurrently, using time management and organizational skills. You must be able to maintain confidential information. (Spanish language skills are a plus)

The coordinator works in an office as part of the parish’s social justice ministry under the direction of the pastoral associate. Occasional need to drive vehicles to pick-up or deliver donations; must have driver’s license. Moderate physical demands, regularly lifts 20-40 lbs

This is a full-time, salaried position, with competitive salary ranging from $55-$63K per annum with healthcare and other benefits. On-site presence required, with some weekend and evening events.
