AEG is seeking enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Community Engagement Representatives. This role involves a variety of public interactions, including but not limited to events, community gatherings, viewing parties, partner collaborations, festivals, and more. Through active participation, you will help create unforgettable experiences for our supporters and fans. At events, representatives will assist with partner engagement, enhance fan experiences, and interact with attendees. The Community Engagement Representative will work under the guidance of the Fan Experience and Promotions Coordinator.
This position is seasonal and part-time. The work schedule will be determined based on event needs, with no guaranteed hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Fan Experience & Promotions Coordinator with event preparations, including executing giveaways, in-game activities, and event presentations.
- Assist in the setup, activation, and breakdown of promotional events within the community.
- Engage with fans during events and gatherings, including mascot appearances, surprise moments, distributing materials, and creating memorable experiences.
- Participate in pre-event, in-event, and post-event entertainment.
- Ensure a positive experience for attendees through friendly interactions, proactive engagement, and professional appearance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Ideal candidates should reside locally.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Frequent travel within the community is required, with personal vehicle transportation.
- Previous experience in operations, marketing, promotions, or events is preferred.
- Availability for all home events.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to varying conditions.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination is required prior to employment.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, adaptable, and reliable.
- Outgoing and mature demeanor when engaging with fans and guests.
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
- Passionate about community engagement and willing to support the organization's mission and values.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
