Position Description:
TPG offers a thrilling opportunity for a Vice President to join The Rise Fund investing team. This role involves contributing to all stages of the investment process, collaborating with team members, and engaging with portfolio companies.
- Identifying promising thematic areas for development
- Leading due diligence efforts
- Structuring and executing transactions
- Maintaining relationships with portfolio company leadership
- Supporting new TRF associates
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate should have over 2 years of private equity experience, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate a track record of successful investments. Furthermore, the candidate should exhibit effective communication, relationship-building abilities, and a collaborative approach.
Experience with growth equity and leveraged buyouts, particularly in sub $500M transactions, is preferred. Key attributes include a solid analytical skillset, intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a team.
The role focuses on core sectors like education and financial services, requiring a depth of experience in late-stage private equity deals within various industries.
