Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to both annual and long-term strategic planning for the Business Development Manager role.
  • Identify and nurture new business prospects within the cloud technology and energy sectors.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to uncover emerging trends, opportunities, and potential collaborations in the cloud computing industry.
  • Establish and maintain robust relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with market demands and organizational objectives.
  • Prepare comprehensive proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize high-value contracts, ensuring favorable terms for both the organization and clients.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to business development efforts and outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive dynamics, and technological innovations to guide strategic choices.
  • Represent Crusoe Energy at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, effectively communicating our value proposition and fostering meaningful connections.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a comparable role, ideally within the cloud computing or technology sector.
  • Proven success in identifying and securing business agreements.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to a business audience.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage and manage relationships with senior executives at enterprises and well-funded startups.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Google Workspace.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and their applications in the energy sector.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Compensation Range:

Compensation is set between $140,000 - $180,000 plus commission. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and internal equity.
