SUMMARY

The Ladders is on the lookout for a seasoned, driven, and proactive Chief Executive Officer to steer our organization. As a leading entity in the recruitment sector, we are dedicated to connecting top-tier talent with exceptional career opportunities.

The Chief Executive Officer will be instrumental in overseeing and directing all facets of our operations. In collaboration with the Board of Directors, the CEO will manage personnel, financial strategies, program development, and organizational infrastructure. Acting as the principal representative to external stakeholders, including industry partners, legal entities, and advocacy groups, the CEO will uphold the organization's mission and champion initiatives that support equitable employment practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide visionary leadership and comprehensive oversight of all organizational aspects, including human resources, financial management, programmatic initiatives, and strategic expansion.
  • Cultivate robust relationships with key stakeholders such as industry leaders, funding organizations, policymakers, and media representatives.
  • Direct policy development, operational strategies, budget management, and resource distribution.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a diverse team of professionals.
  • Enhance the organization's visibility and influence through strategic partnerships and outreach efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  • Organizational Oversight: Ultimate accountability for personnel, financial health, program effectiveness, and workplace environment.
  • Board Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for the Board of Directors.
  • Committee Leadership: Lead key committee meetings and initiatives.
  • Contract Negotiations: Represent the organization in negotiations and policy discussions.
  • Strategic Planning: Oversee evaluations and provide guidance on strategic initiatives.
  • External Relations: Engage with other organizations and media to promote the mission.
  • Caseload Management: Maintain a manageable set of responsibilities.
  • Policy Advocacy: Provide insights on proposed regulations and legislative matters.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) and relevant bar admission required.
  • Over 10 years of experience in legal services, with significant management experience.
  • A strong commitment to advancing social equity and safeguarding rights.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • A compelling public presence with the ability to inspire confidence among stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in managing complex budgets and operational frameworks.
WORKING CONDITIONS:

The Ladders operates in a modern office equipped with advanced technological resources. We are conveniently located and offer flexible work arrangements for the right candidate.

SALARY RANGE:

$160,000 - $175,000
