As a Sales Development Representative at Gong, you'll play a pivotal role in driving new business growth and contributing to the development of a world-class sales organization at a pioneering tech company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate interest and awareness for Gong through targeted outreach to prospective customers
  • Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives to facilitate seamless handoffs
  • Meet or exceed daily activity minimums to ensure consistent progress
  • Develop and execute a strategic approach to managing your book of accounts
  • Become an expert user of Gong's platform to maximize its potential
  • Provide actionable feedback to improve SDR effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members to share best practices and drive collective success
Requirements:
  • Located within commuting distance of the Chicago or San Francisco metro area
  • Able to work from the Gong office 3 times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday)
  • Proven sales experience or a passion for sales or sales leadership
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • High resilience to bounce back from setbacks
  • A player mindset, always striving to grow and develop
  • Unmatched work ethic, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Coachable and open to feedback

The annual OTE for this position is $90,000 USD. Compensation is based on factors unique to each candidate, including job-related skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. At Gong, we have a location-based compensation structure, which may result in a different range for candidates in other locations. The total compensation package includes base compensation, incentive compensation, bonus, equity, and benefits. Some sales compensation programs offer the potential to exceed targeted earnings for those who surpass their sales targets.
