About the Role

The Public Sector Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving business growth and development within the public sector. This individual will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as nurturing existing relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public sector customers and partners
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and market conditions to provide expert advice and guidance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT solutions and services
  • Travel within assigned sales territory to meet with customers and attend company events
Requirements
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful IT sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
  • Documented history of new business development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation and time management skills
  • Ability to self-study and engage in independent work
  • Business acumen and good judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degrees or sales and technical certifications
  • Experience selling complex IT solutions to large public sector customers
  • Working knowledge of programs from industry-leading OEMs
