Position Overview

Our client, a prominent IT consulting organization specializing in the Financial Services sector, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee their operations. This firm is dedicated to various financial domains, including Payments, Mortgages & Lending, and Capital Markets, which encompass Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Real Estate, and Wealth & Asset Management.

The ideal candidate will be based in Portland, Oregon, and will play a crucial role in steering the financial direction of the company.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $200K to $300K, in addition to performance-based bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the financial strategy and operations of the organization.
  2. Oversee financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
  3. Manage M&A processes, including due diligence and integration.
  4. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  5. Guide the transition and optimization of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

Qualifications

  1. A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
  2. Extensive experience (15+ years) in a senior finance leadership role, preferably within the technology consulting and IT services sectors.
  3. Strong understanding of financial principles and regulatory requirements.
  4. Proven track record in financial planning and analysis.
  5. Experience with foreign currencies and managing operations across multiple time zones.
  6. Demonstrated success in leading ERP transitions with systems such as Netsuite, SAP, or Oracle.
  7. Experience in a rapidly growing company with significant revenue.
  8. Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  9. A strategic mindset focused on enhancing financial performance and shareholder value.
