About the Position

REMOTE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic Account Executive with a proven track record in achieving sales targets within the software sector. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment and are eager to make a significant impact on our clients' growth.

The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, guiding prospects from initial contact through to closing deals. A successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of our software solutions and will excel in delivering engaging product demonstrations, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with various internal teams to finalize contracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients to drive revenue growth and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Qualify leads generated by the Sales Development Team.
  • Keep prospects informed about new product developments, features, and updates.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Contracts Department to ensure smooth contract execution.
  • Manage a robust sales pipeline, handling approximately 30 opportunities simultaneously to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Oversee daily sales activities, including client outreach, appointment scheduling, and proposal management.
  • Work collaboratively within a sales team under the guidance of a Regional Sales Director.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Proactively generate approximately 50% of your sales pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and deadlines.
  • Foster strong relationships across internal teams and with external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads and customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in sales.
  • Assist in the collection of customer payments as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Self-driven and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with RFx processes (RFP, RFI, DDQ, Security Questionnaire).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and online presentation tools.
  • Skilled in conducting product demonstrations.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies, preferably MEDDPICC.
Experience Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in B2B software sales.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
  • Experience selling to enterprise-level clients, preferably in a SaaS context.
  • Experience engaging prospects in trial or proof-of-concept scenarios.
  • Ability to create and execute effective sales plans on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis.
  • Experience in following a structured sales process.
