Chargeback Resolution Specialist

Position Overview
The role of the Customer Dispute Analyst involves the investigation and resolution of customer chargebacks. This position requires thorough transaction analysis, strong analytical capabilities, and meticulous documentation of all actions taken, including communications with merchants and cardholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed research to resolve customer disputes, applying relevant banking and card industry regulations.
- Compile and analyze statistics on chargebacks to identify trends and enhance overall customer service.
- Process and resolve chargeback requests for multiple dispute reason codes, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
- Organize supporting documentation and apply necessary credit or debit adjustments based on dispute outcomes.
- Assist in categorizing pending requests from various queues to ensure efficient workflow management.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- No prior relevant experience is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of experience in handling dispute resolutions.
- Basic understanding of association and card industry regulations.
Skills and Competencies
Develop and apply foundational skills to complete routine tasks effectively. Work on assignments that are generally routine, requiring minimal decision-making outside established processes. Operate under close supervision and follow detailed instructions.
