Position Summary

ValidaTek is seeking an IT Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee the daily operations of an IT infrastructure program that delivers a unified perspective on all enterprise-wide capabilities, underpinned by structured processes, prioritized initiatives, knowledge sharing, and a strong emphasis on performance management. This program will provide our clients with clear accountability and drive effective execution. The IT Infrastructure Operations Lead will offer daily support to clients by addressing, documenting, tracking, resolving, and managing client inquiries, issues, and requests.

Key Responsibilities

This position will supervise team members responsible for networking, help desk, and monitoring support for client networks and infrastructure. Responsibilities will include ensuring the integrity and security of the infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess the following:
  • 5+ years of experience managing and operating cryptographic facilities.
  • 5+ years of experience overseeing Network Operations Centers.
  • Proven expertise in maintaining the operational status of a Tech Control facility.
  • In-depth knowledge of Tech Control equipment, including switches, encryption devices, network operation consoles, and circuits.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising tech control personnel for programs of similar scale to this opportunity.
  • Familiarity with operating and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control Help Desk functions and DISAC.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and oversight in coordinating, restoring, and reporting functions essential for effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities.
  • Understanding of industry standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and IT Service Management (ITSM).
  • Expertise in managing incidents and service requests for activities such as changes, problems, configurations, and requisitions for equipment and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence leaders and stakeholders.
  • All candidates must hold Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) certification.
  • All candidates must possess a current TS clearance and be SCI eligible.
  • All candidates must have a bachelor's degree in an IT-related field.
Salary Information

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $114,693.12/Yr.

Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $191,155.20/Yr.

Salary Disclosure

Actual salary will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals demonstrating tenure with the company, seniority, and proven outstanding performance, taking into account factors such as education, certifications, and extensive or unique experience beyond the minimum requirements.
