Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to define and develop tools and automation that streamline and enhance the software development lifecycle, promote best practices, and facilitate smooth transitions to production deployment.
  • Create infrastructure as code to guarantee consistent and dependable management of application environments.
  • Provision cloud-based infrastructure for deploying, managing, and scaling software applications.
  • Design, build, and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure system stability while enabling a continuous flow of software updates and feature deployments.
  • Develop and manage log and metric capture and analysis systems.
  • Optimize system deployments to balance performance, cost, and security considerations.
  • Establish system monitoring and alerting capabilities.
  • Oversee and monitor system access controls and authorization mechanisms.
  • Conduct systems administration to maintain operating systems, tools, and software in an up-to-date, functional, and secure state.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system alerts, failures, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Support system and software testing and debugging processes.
  • Manage daily system operations.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes or equivalent application platforms.
  • Knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps, and industry best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience with AWS constructs, including at least one major serverless application architecture/deployment.

It is essential that candidates have a developer-first mindset and the ability to code.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with:

  • AI/ML tools (e.g., Kubeflow, Sagemaker).
  • Big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, RedShift, HDFS).
