Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a seasoned Infrastructure Risk Management Analyst to become part of our team.


Location:
Arlington, VA (Hybrid)

Key Analytic Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting comprehensive data analysis, encompassing enterprise and technical architecture, as well as systems engineering and technical support.
  • Executing risk assessments, including cyber and infrastructure evaluations, along with incident response strategies.
  • Aligning requirements, capabilities, and data available to DHS to comprehend and mitigate risks to critical infrastructure.
  • Reviewing and assessing systems and assets to pinpoint risks that may lead to cascading impacts.
  • Providing planning support, including strategic planning and program management.
  • Engaging in analytical writing and data visualization.
  • Assisting with potential work surges to adapt to shifting priorities due to new and updated risk management initiatives that align with the evolving mission landscape.
Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA; or 10 years with an MS/MA. Consideration may be given for a minimum of 16 years in lieu of a degree.
  • At least ten (10+) years of experience in a Critical Infrastructure and/or engineering field (systems, nuclear, biochemical, civil, or chemical), operations research, and/or advanced computing (including AI); with demonstrated knowledge of the engineered systems central to the 16 Critical Infrastructure (CI) sectors outlined in PPD-21.
  • Expertise in applying Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) concepts and frameworks (e.g., COSO, ISO) to address operational risk in public and/or private sectors.
  • Experience in developing, maturing, and implementing Risk Registers and establishing Risk Register governance in public and/or private sectors.
  • Proficiency in communicating and documenting methodologies used to prioritize risk.
  • Experience collaborating across sectors in Critical Infrastructure and in an inter-agency environment where coordination was essential for success.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the socio-technical implications of potential changes in the strategic operating environment related to critical infrastructure.
  • Capability to exhibit anticipatory risk identification and management, including the development of potential mitigation strategies related to critical infrastructure security and resilience.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Active T S/SCI clearance is mandatory.
  • The selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
