Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Refresh Lead to join our team in support of the Office of Naval Research. This is a hybrid position that requires on-site work three days a week and an active Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive technology refresh strategy to ensure that all hardware and software remain up-to-date and do not reach technological end-of-life.
  • Provide technical expertise and analysis to support the planning, implementation, and documentation of technology refresh projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technology refresh needs and develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical refresh schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure that all technology refresh projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide regular progress updates and status reports to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • 8 years of relevant experience in technology refresh, IT infrastructure, or a related field.
  • Experience leading technology refresh efforts and developing technical refresh strategies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of hardware and software systems, including network infrastructures, blade servers, routers, switches, operating systems, database software, web software, and application software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret or Interim Secret Clearance.
  • Must meet DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as a subject matter expert in technology refresh, capital planning, and records management.
  • Experience providing technical knowledge and analysis of highly specialized applications and operational environments.
  • Experience participating in all phases of software development, including planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation.
  • Experience applying principles, methods, and knowledge of the functional area of capability to specific task requirements.
  • Experience with AWS cloud.
