Position: Remote Role in the MIDWEST USA

The Regional Account Executive for Group Life and Health Sales and Account Management is responsible for the stewardship and servicing of current client accounts. This role involves delivering exceptional customer support to clients, brokers, and administrators, while also facilitating the sale of rate renewals and additional products as designated. The position requires collaboration with Sales Managers to follow up on outstanding proposals and prepare necessary correspondence. Occasional travel may be required.

  • Act as a key liaison between clients and the Life and Health operations team, addressing various aspects such as billing, claims, and policy development.
  • Oversee the process and execution of new business and renewals, providing essential support to Sales Executives on pending proposals.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, brokers, and consultants.
  • Manage confidential and proprietary information within shared data systems.
  • Initiate and distribute correspondence and informational materials to Life and Health clients.
  • Present relevant information to both current and prospective clients.
  • Represent the Life & Health division at health fairs, trade shows, and other industry-related events as needed.
  • Maintain an organized client database and establish service connections with other departments within Life & Health.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in the MIDWEST USA and be available for travel within the region to meet clients, approximately 1-2 times monthly for 1-2 days.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in life and health insurance account management.
  • Proven experience in managing a current block of business or a designated number of accounts.
  • Familiarity with PPOs and Third Party Administrators, along with knowledge of claims data.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing learning and professional development, including obtaining and maintaining a current Life and Health producer license.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Group Insurance and the Taft-Hartley/Union market.
