Position: Remote Role in the Midwest Region

The Regional Account Executive for Group Life and Health Sales and Account Management is responsible for the stewardship and support of current client accounts. This role involves delivering exceptional service to clients, brokers, and administrators, while also facilitating the sale of policy renewals and additional services as required. The position includes collaboration with Sales Managers to ensure timely follow-up on proposals and the preparation of necessary documentation. Occasional travel may be required.

  • Act as a key point of contact between clients and the Life and Health operations team, addressing inquiries related to billing, claims, and policy matters.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new business and manage renewals, providing essential support to Sales Executives.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and foster strong relationships with existing clients, brokers, and consultants.
  • Handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion.
  • Initiate and manage communication and informational resources for Life and Health clients.
  • Present relevant information to both current and potential clients.
  • Represent the Life & Health division at industry events, health fairs, and other company-sponsored activities as needed.
  • Maintain an organized client database and establish service connections with other departments within Life & Health.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in the Midwest region and be available for travel to client locations 1-2 times monthly for 1-2 days.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in account management within the life and health insurance sector.
  • Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients or a designated block of business.
  • Familiarity with PPOs and Third Party Administrators, along with a solid understanding of claims data.
  • Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development, including obtaining and maintaining a current Life and Health producer license.
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism in all interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and think creatively.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Group Insurance and the Taft-Hartley/Union market is advantageous.
