Job Overview

The Sales Account Executive will be instrumental in driving our ambitious goals for customer acquisition and revenue enhancement by engaging with our Customer/Dealer network.

The primary objective of this position is to cultivate, sustain, and grow accounts through consistent outreach to clients.

The ideal candidate should be adept at managing a substantial volume of calls daily, generating interest, qualifying leads, and finalizing sales.


Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM, no weekends

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify sales prospects through lead follow-up, making proactive sales calls and sending emails.
  • Evaluate business intelligence data to uncover potential sales and margin growth opportunities within the designated region/division.
  • Meet quarterly sales targets by increasing sales/gross margin with assigned accounts.
  • Enhance technology adoption and usage rates by ensuring assigned clients comprehend and utilize our digital tools, including Watsco Ventures, Warranty, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Provide accounts with assistance regarding pricing, marketing initiatives, and technical support.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Managers to onboard new accounts with the aim of fully managing these accounts within a 24-month period.
  • Participate in product and sales training sessions as necessary.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Excellent phone communication, listening, and presentation skills. Capable of handling a high volume of calls daily.
  • Proven computer proficiency and adaptability to new technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Capability to achieve assigned goals and objectives within specified time frames.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning. Ability to learn, instruct, and lead.
