Position Overview

The Michigan Founders Fund Pre-Accelerator, in collaboration with gener8tor, is an innovative initiative designed to merge successful startup programming with a robust network aimed at empowering early-stage ventures led by diverse founders. This role requires a dedicated individual to facilitate the launch and management of a program that nurtures Michigan-based startups.

About gener8tor

gener8tor is a leader in the startup ecosystem, operating accelerators and venture capital funds that connect communities with mentorship, networks, and funding opportunities. With a presence in numerous cities and states, gener8tor supports hundreds of startups each year through various programs, including pre-accelerators and accelerators.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including mentors, investors, and corporate partners.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard startup participants for the Pre-Accelerator program.
  • Organize and execute two in-person cohorts annually.
  • Support alumni in building ongoing relationships with mentors and investors post-program.
  • Act as a primary advocate for the startups and entrepreneurs within the program.
  • Integrate each cohort into the broader Michigan Founders Fund network.
  • Collaborate with the Michigan Founders Fund team to enhance community engagement and support for founders.
