  • Team Collaboration: Act as a vital member of the VITA team, supporting seasonal site coordinators and staff while collaborating with other agency programs.
  • Client Interaction: Deliver outstanding customer service to clients visiting the tax site, assisting with inquiries and guiding them through the tax preparation process.

  • External Representation: Represent the Accounting Aid Society in interactions with external constituents, fostering trust and relationships within the community.
  • Other Duties: Participate in agency meetings or events outside of regular office hours as requested, and perform other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Tax Knowledge: A solid understanding of federal, state, and local individual income tax laws is essential.
  • Skills:
    • Strong administrative and leadership abilities with the capacity to work independently.
    • High proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office applications and databases.
