Role Summary:

The Vice President, Director of Media Analytics will be a key figure within the Advanced Analytics & Insights (AAI) department, specifically leading the Decision Sciences team. This role will focus on navigating the complex landscape of advertising technology, integrating both digital and traditional analytics to tackle intricate research and measurement challenges for our client brands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with clients to identify and address their critical business inquiries, offering guidance on optimizing data usage related to media and marketing investments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous, data-informed decision-making to embed consumer-driven analytics into media and marketing strategies.
  • Provide expert insights and leadership in designing and recommending suitable analytical methodologies to resolve significant client challenges.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and establish media KPIs that align with overarching business goals.
  • Enhance the visibility of Data and Analytics by showcasing exemplary client work and articulating the significance of analytics findings and subsequent actions.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of diverse client projects and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison for brand teams regarding campaign and brand measurement research development and execution.
  • Work in tandem with investment and planning teams to facilitate data-driven marketing investment decisions.
  • Align with client media teams to ensure coherence in strategy, measurement, and optimization efforts.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a team while steering strategic initiatives and departmental vision.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred, ideally in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
  • Over 10 years of experience in media, analytics, marketing research, consumer insights, business consulting, or digital advertising analytics.
  • At least 7 years of progressive people management experience.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong foundation in both traditional and digital media effectiveness methods, including ROI analysis.
  • Familiarity with the media research measurement vendor landscape and the ability to assess new capabilities.
  • Experience with competitive reporting systems and a keen interest in the technology marketplace.
  • A collaborative team player with a proven ability to work effectively with others.
  • Proficiency in statistical software packages (SAS, R, Python) is advantageous.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, GoodData, or Datorama.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
