Position Summary:
The Vice President, Media Director of Applied Analytics is a pivotal role within the Advanced Analytics & Insights (AAI) department. This position will oversee the Decision Sciences team, which specializes in addressing intricate research and measurement challenges through the integration of digital and offline analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to identify and address their critical business inquiries, providing guidance on optimizing data utilization for media and marketing investments.
  • Foster a culture of continuous, data-driven decision-making that promotes the integration of consumer analytics into media and marketing strategies.
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert, designing and recommending effective analytic methodologies to tackle significant client challenges.
  • Develop measurement frameworks and establish media KPIs aligned with business objectives.
  • Enhance the visibility of Data and Analytics by showcasing exemplary client work and articulating the significance of analytics in driving actionable insights.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of diverse client deliverables.
  • Act as the primary liaison for brand teams regarding campaign measurement research and its implementation.
  • Guide investment and planning teams to facilitate data-driven marketing decisions.
  • Align with client media teams to ensure consistency in strategy, measurement, and optimization.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team while steering strategic initiatives and departmental vision.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, business, sociology, or consumer insights.
  • Over 10 years of experience in media, analytics, marketing research, consumer insights, or digital advertising analytics.
  • A minimum of 7 years in a leadership role with progressive responsibilities.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong foundation in traditional and digital media effectiveness methods, including ROI analysis.
  • Familiarity with the media research measurement vendor landscape and the ability to assess new capabilities.
  • Experience with competitive reporting systems and an understanding of the technology marketplace.
  • A collaborative team player with a resourceful approach.
  • Experience with statistical software (SAS, R, Python) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, GoodData, or Datorama.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
