Nurse Care Coordinator

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse is a key member of our healthcare team at MediLodge of Richmond, providing high-quality nursing care to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans for residents
  • Assess and document resident conditions and nursing needs
  • Administer medications, start IVs, and perform treatments as needed
  • Supervise and direct LPNs, LVNs, and CNAs
  • Participate in orientation and in-service training for personnel
  • Ensure that supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained
  • Report and record pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents
  • Coordinate nursing care of residents for therapy or procedures
  • Interview applicants and recommend hires
  • Participate in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination of staff
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Valid RN license in the state employed
  • Valid CPR certification
  • One year of nursing experience preferred
