Position Overview

The Territory Sales Specialist is responsible for enhancing the adoption and utilization of FloodGate Medical's innovative technologies within healthcare facilities that specialize in cardiac, vascular, and transplant procedures.

Product Portfolio

MiraQ Cardiac: This advanced system integrates spatial data from epicardial ultrasound imaging with quantitative metrics from Transit Time Flow Measurement (TTFM), enabling surgeons to conduct timely and precise evaluations, and adjust grafts as necessary.

MiraQ Vascular: Similar to its cardiac counterpart, this system combines ultrasound imaging with TTFM data to facilitate accurate assessments and graft modifications during surgical procedures.

Imaging Probe: The L15 imaging probe is uniquely designed for direct contact with cardiac tissue and meets global sterilization standards. It has been validated for STERRAD sterilization, eliminating the need for a sterile sheath, and offers exceptional nearfield resolution.

Flow Probes: Utilizing reliable Transit Time Flow Measurement (TTFM), these probes, in conjunction with FloodGate Medical systems, deliver rapid, accurate, and reproducible blood volume flow measurements during operations.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • Ability to obtain credentials through industry vendor credentialing organizations.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and capability to operate a vehicle.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret business publications, technical manuals, and regulations.
  • Proficient in report writing, business correspondence, and procedural documentation.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present information to diverse audiences.
  • Mathematical proficiency to perform basic calculations and interpret data.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new software.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position include regular communication, frequent mobility, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds. Candidates should be prepared for extended periods of standing and possess good vision for both close and distant tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales growth and profitability targets within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain relationships with surgeons and hospital staff, including operating room and administrative personnel.
  • Provide current clinical information and sales materials to clients.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and offer technical support to customers.
  • Assist in the evaluation and installation of FloodGate Medical devices in healthcare settings.
  • Deliver training on the safe and effective use of products for graft assessment and procedural quality assurance.
  • Consult with surgical teams during procedures involving FloodGate Medical products.
  • Conduct educational sessions for clinical staff regarding device usage.
  • Offer on-call technical and clinical assistance as required.
  • Represent FloodGate Medical professionally and contribute positively to the corporate culture.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary starting at $90,000 with total income potential between $190,000 and $200,000. Additional benefits include mileage reimbursement, 401k matching up to 4%, and comprehensive health benefits with HSA contributions.
