Veterinary Sales Territory Executive

This role is accountable for all sales initiatives, including facilitating sponsorship and tradeshow opportunities for both companion and large animal events. The Territory Executive will oversee the designated region of Florida, specifically focusing on South Florida, including the West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale areas.

Key Responsibilities

Management retains the right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities at any time.

  • Meet and exceed sales targets for the company's offerings within the assigned region.
  • Engage with Licensed Veterinarians to promote AHD products through direct presentations and other suitable methods.
  • Develop and present an annual sales strategy for the territory, assessing each practice's market potential, AHD product market share, challenges, and opportunities, while crafting strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • Collect and document individual account market intelligence through daily updates in the approved CRM system, ensuring accurate reporting of daily activities.
  • Regularly synchronize CRM territory data with headquarters sales information to maintain current account details for effective pre-call planning.
  • Identify and collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders in the designated area, maintaining consistent communication with the division marketing team to relay insights about market developments, opportunities, and requests from KOLs.
  • In close partnership with the AHD Marketing Department, monitor competitor pricing and distribution tactics; suggest and implement suitable AHD pricing and distribution strategies.
  • Manage territory-related selling expenses within the established budget.
  • Collaborate with relevant corporate departments to deliver exceptional service to customers.
  • Identify new account prospects, qualify leads, and convert them into customers.
  • Complete and submit necessary administrative tasks (expense reports, activity reports, etc.) in accordance with company guidelines and timelines.
  • Consistently represent AHD in a professional and positive manner, ensuring the highest standards of business ethics in its operations.
  • Encourage a culture of mutual respect and demonstrate strong teamwork among all members of AHD and American Regent.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
  • Commit to embracing the QUALITY culture within the organization.
Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this position, an individual must effectively perform each essential duty. The qualifications listed below are indicative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical sector or over 5 years in the Animal Health industry.
  • Proficient in MS Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%; flexibility to attend national or regional events, including weekends, is required.
