The Territory Sales Manager, Oncology Solutions role is pivotal in overseeing all sales and account management initiatives within prominent academic and large community oncology, radiation oncology, and neuro-oncology practices across the designated territory. The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced startup environment, demonstrating the autonomy required to cultivate and expand the business. A successful Territory Sales Manager is a proactive self-starter, motivated by performance, collaboration, and a commitment to patient care.

This is a full-time, exempt position based in the field, reporting directly to the Regional Business Director. Candidates should ideally reside within the designated territory and have convenient access to major transportation hubs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct field-based promotion and account management efforts directed at oncology healthcare professionals in both academic and community settings, focusing on neuro-oncologists, neuro-surgeons, radiation oncologists, and medical oncologists.Develop and execute strategic account plans using a collaborative team approach.Identify business opportunities through customer relationships and insights into key accounts (e.g., practice models, patient care frameworks).Ensure excellence in the execution of corporate and regional strategies within the assigned geographic area, leading to the achievement of business goals.Identify new business opportunities and enhance existing accounts within approved guidelines in the territory.Provide in-territory customer service support related to reimbursement and billing processes.Collaborate closely with the Territory Manager, Scientific Liaison, Regional Marketer, Device Support Specialists, in-house Reimbursement, Sales Operations, and the US Business Team.Adhere to all company policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines.Maintain accurate account and CRM records.Support patient treatment by liaising with prescribing physicians and clinical staff to identify and manage patients who have received prescriptions but have not yet commenced therapy or are on treatment hold.Conduct case reviews with prescribing physicians and clinical staff to discuss patient progress and ensure continuity of care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of success.An undergraduate degree or equivalent experience is required; an advanced degree is a plus.Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic organization with minimal supervision, exercising good judgment and sound decision-making skills.Proven capability to manage multiple responsibilities and interact effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.Exceptional oral and written communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and customer demands.Candidates must reside within the territory and be within a reasonable distance to most accounts.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiarity with oncology healthcare providers and institutions within the territory.Experience and established relationships in the neuro-oncology and/or radiation oncology markets are considered significant assets.Expertise in managing an oncology therapeutic business on a territorial basis, encompassing sales, local marketing, reimbursement, and technical support functions.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to dedicate 20-40% of time to travel weekly, with occasional travel outside the territory.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
