Inside Sales Territory Manager

Position Summary: The Inside Territory Sales Manager is responsible for cultivating and expanding a profitable portfolio of approximately 50 Inside Sales Key Accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategically plan, organize, and enhance the sales volume of assigned accounts.
- Develop and nurture relationships with Key Accounts, aiming to elevate their sales potential to warrant a transition to an Outside Territory Sales Manager.
- Backfill graduated accounts with new Inside Sales Key Accounts from the regional House Account list.
- Collaborate with the Area Sales Manager (ASM) to identify accounts ready for graduation to Territory Sales Managers.
- Maintain and boost sales revenue and gross margin through effective account management.
- Recruit and train new dealers, providing ongoing support to enhance their business performance.
- Create compelling proposals for prospective clients.
- Foster strong relationships with customer decision-makers and support staff through proactive communication.
- Oversee all aspects of the Inside Sales Key Account customer base.
- Regularly update and manage customer and sales data within the CRM system.
- Build collaborative relationships with corporate office staff and field sales teams.
- Gather and relay local market insights and feedback to the Sales Manager.
- Develop an annual business plan in collaboration with the Manager, outlining strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Handle all sales activities from lead generation to closure within the assigned territory.
- Engage in additional projects and responsibilities to support business objectives.
Nature & Scope:
- Operates within established guidelines and procedures.
- Works under close supervision to execute assigned tasks.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Preferred knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Understanding of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong ability to educate and influence partners regarding HVAC products and programs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
- Analytical skills to project channel sales and outcomes.
- Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adept at building positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity.
- Maintains a professional appearance and represents the company positively.
- Self-motivated individual capable of managing a territory from a home office.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule and travel occasionally.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
- HVAC experience is preferred.
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
