Position Overview
As a District Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and oversee an independent dealer distribution network, enhancing the market presence and sales of Doosan Bobcat's grounds maintenance and turf equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Territory Management:
Establish and sustain a dealer network that ensures high-quality customer experiences at all operational levels. Collaborate with dealers to enhance customer satisfaction. - Foster strong relationships with the dealer network, managing daily interests, strategies, and objectives of the company.
- Safeguard and oversee the financial assets of both the company and its dealers, effectively communicating customer and dealer needs to relevant departments.
- Achieve market share targets through effective product sales strategies, promoting all available products to enhance brand recognition.
- Address order and retail inquiries promptly.
- Formulate annual district and individual dealer strategies.
Dealer Engagement and Accountability:
Enhance dealer performance by conducting quarterly Sales/Action Plan meetings with key dealers, presenting market share insights and competitive analysis, and reviewing sales data and action plans with dealer principals.
Dealer Training and Development:
Facilitate dealer training sessions and promotional activities, conduct district sales training for new products and competitive insights, and mentor new sales specialists to acclimate them to the company.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 2 to 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in commercial marketing, particularly with grounds maintenance equipment, is advantageous.
- Proven territory management experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- A strong performer with a high level of motivation.
- Ability to make informed and timely decisions.
- Self-driven with excellent time management skills, particularly in a home office setting.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
