Job Title: Territory Sales Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

As a Territory Sales Consultant, you will be expected to perform a variety of essential functions, including:
  • Engaging with clients to provide guidance on vendor offerings and deliver sales and support services within designated retail locations.
  • Traveling to client sites to service vendor products and uphold product displays.
  • Addressing customer inquiries and providing comprehensive answers to their questions.
  • Communicating new product details and gathering customer feedback on vendor offerings.
  • Equipping customers with product knowledge through demonstrations and application training.
  • Resolving customer issues and discrepancies between customers and vendors promptly.
  • Facilitating promotional initiatives by introducing accounts to the latest sales strategies.
  • Assisting in the placement of special orders as needed.
  • Arranging products on shelving units in accordance with the established plan-o-gram.
  • Overseeing and maintaining inventory levels, making necessary adjustments.
  • Submitting weekly reports summarizing hours worked, locations visited, and sales impact.
  • Adhering to all AMS and customer policies and procedures.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Willingness to travel, which may involve overnight stays.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and days based on business needs, including weekends.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, presentation, writing, and technical skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and proof of insurance that meets company standards.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service to both clients and vendors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting as necessary.
  • Frequent standing, bending, and twisting are required.
  • Two years of vendor sales experience is preferred.
  • One year of field sales or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus.
