As a Front Desk Receptionist at National Vision, you will be the face of our stores, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of customers through the store. You will be the first point of contact for customers, answering phone calls, and responding to their inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, courteous service to customers on the phone and in person.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store by managing patient schedules and keeping organized patient records.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
  • Process and understand managed care plans, obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits, and classes.
  • File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments.
  • Check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays.
  • Keep the reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role preferred but not required.
  • 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
  • Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills required.
  • Bilingual preferred but not required.
