Position Overview

South Sound Radiology is seeking a dedicated individual with a strong focus on customer service to become a part of our Front Desk Reception Team.

Location: Beautiful Olympia, Washington, a region known for its breathtaking views and natural beauty.

Compensation: The hourly wage is set at $29.40, influenced by various factors such as relevant experience, skills, and overall employment status. Additional compensation may be available for evening and weekend shifts.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks that support the Imaging Center's operations.
  • Deliver compassionate and professional service to all patients and staff members.
  • Efficiently manage a high volume of patient check-ins.
  • Ensure the accuracy of patient demographic and insurance details.
  • Collect and reconcile patient payments, addressing routine billing and insurance inquiries.
  • Accurately input incoming orders in a timely manner.
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Effectively de-escalate conflicts while recognizing when to seek assistance.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role is mandatory.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience in a medical office setting.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of medical insurance processes.
  • Proficient in computer skills and capable of multitasking across various software applications.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor in all work-related interactions.
