Community Resource Support / Receptionist

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Community Resource Support / Receptionist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a local non-profit organization based in Olympia, WA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and organized professional to provide exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and support community resource efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and direct families and visitors to community resources in the area
  • Answer phones and respond to inquiries
  • Enter client information into an industry-specific database
  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars
  • Organize and manage donations received by the agency
  • Assist guests with completing intake forms and other paperwork

Requirements:

  • 6 months of recent experience working for a non-profit or resource-based organization
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Software programs
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new tasks and skills
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Strong typing skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish) skills strongly preferred but not required
