Position Overview:

The Regional Software Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in promoting StartUs GmbH's innovative solutions to educational institutions across North America. This position is focused on enhancing revenue and expanding market presence while fostering enduring partnerships with both new and existing clients in the K-12 sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage sales opportunities across the US West Coast.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies, with a focus on large and mid-sized school districts.
  • Collaborate closely with the US Sales Team Manager and Sales Director.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with C-level decision-makers at the district level.
  • Monitor open district bids and RFPs in the region, managing potential applications.
  • Utilize existing industry knowledge and contacts to enhance the StartUs brand in the education sector.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences to promote offerings.
  • Stay informed about educational trends and legislative changes.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 5 years in Education Software Sales. You should be a motivated sales professional capable of leveraging your professional network within the territory.

  • Demonstrated success in education sales, particularly at the district-wide level.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented sales environment.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, complemented by solid writing and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter who takes pride in achieving results.
  • Proficient in utilizing web-based applications and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to manage client relationships and the bidding process.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the territory, including occasional overnight and international trips.
  • Open to collaborating with teams across different time zones.
  • Energetic, positive, and a committed team player.
  • A background in education is advantageous but not mandatory.
